Panthers vs Cowboys

I got to go to the game today as a birthday present. It was an amazing experience even though we lost. Here are some observations:
1. Where was Deangelo Williams? That was a huge part. The only running we had was from Cam. They only used Deangelo two times! He was not injured or had anything wrong with him.
2. Cam had a okay game today. When he couldn’t find anybody to pass it to, he would run it around all the defenders. Though after one sack to end the drive, he went to the bench by himself and put a pink towel over his head. He really needs to raise up his attitude.
3. Please get back those replacement refs! The referees probably cost us the game.
4. Cam criticized the offensive coordinator on his play calling after the game. He is probably going to get in trouble, but I have to agree with him. They should have ran the ball on 4th and 1, not passed. Also at the end on 2nd and 10 close to the 50 yard line with 27 seconds to go, they throw a long bomb to Brandon Lafell who missed it and made it 3rd and 10.

I loved going to the game and all that’s left is KEEP POUNDING!

Training Camp Today

I noticed a lot of good and bad stuff today at Panthers Training Camp at Wofford College. When they were doing 11 on 11 drills, Derek Anderson looked sharp throwing a great pass to Kealoha Pilares. Our kicker that we acquired this year was doing better then Olindo Mare. One bad thing that happened was Ron Rivera yelled at the players. You do not really see that from him but he reminded the players that there were only 56 roster spots and that they have to put more effort. All the players were very nice when they came around to sign autographs and who knows, Ryan Kalil might be right about the Panthers winning the Super Bowl.

“It was a very special moment,” Carmelo Anthony says. “For her to be sitting over there and supporting us, we just wanted to thank her for coming.”
Michelle Obama watched the game, a few rows back. At the final buzzer, the entire team came over for a hug, one by one.

Hamels Made Right Move?

Cole Hamels showed a very unclassy act on Sunday when he threw the ball right at Brice Harper. I’m a Mets fan so I might sound like a hater. I don’t like the Phillies or the Nationals. But throwing a 95 mph fastball right to the back of a player who is having his first at bat, that’s just unclassy. Later in the 3rd or 4th inning. Ryan Zimmerman pegged the ball at Cole Hamels when he was running to the base. Now that’s a team player. After the game, in an interview that he wanted to show Harper the big Leagues. In my opinion, that was translation for “I was afraid to face him so I pegged him in the back.” What a coward. Perfect image of the Phillies.
